An impulsive response serving the needs of another, or others triggers a reward flooding our senses with delight sufficient to feel we are floating on a bed of ecstatic air. Such feelings are rare, and short lived. Yet, that joyous moment leaves an impression providing us with the comfort of understanding that without any planning on our part, our selfless action had been returned to us filling us with delight.
Our Father actively intervenes in our life from time, to time inspiring us to serve His helping outreach into the lives of those, who by apparent chance enter our life. Divine design is more often, or not disguised by coincidence appearing to be the causation of our sharing actions.
Randomness argues that we have nothing to do with creating coincidences, and the outcome of fortuitous encounters is merely a matter of chance. In other words things just happen, because we live in a random universe. I always appreciate the input of the cynic, for they represent our choice to explore the reasons for having acted in a selfless manner.
Curiosity will drive the investigative person to contemplate why so many coincidences have occurred to them. Could they all have been a matter of chance, or randomness? When we dig deeply into our life's journey of self discovery the truth begins to emerge, sufficiently to understand that those interventions were, and are the product of some thing, or another that only now we are beginning to discern. Our confidence develops in response to our growing awareness that we are being led through our life.
From a spiritual perspective, The Father is all-knowing and trustworthy; however, his leading us along unconventional paths may at first appear uncomfortable. Our trust in His leadership rewards us with deepening faith. Patience serving all our needs becomes our reward, for remaining faithful when our life's journey faces moments of darkness when a helping hand grasps our hand, inviting us to let Him become our light revealing our road into our future.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways, my ways
