Humbly welcome the word that has been planted in you and is able to save your souls.
Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deluding yourselves.

At the risk of appearing pedantic repeating myself time, after time over the years posting on The Word I have today, once again emphasised the absolute need of the faithful person to do all that The Word asks of us.
The Word made flesh, references Our Saviour present in our life, accompanying us on our life time's journey of self discovery.
Here I reference Biblical verses on the journey of two of Jesus' apostles, walking towards Emmaus.:

When hearing a faint whisper speaking from within our thoughts listen carefully, then do all that is asked. By this route we discover that our life takes on another dimension, guiding us out of our self imposed injurious choices, into reflecting The Father's plan for our life's journey.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind ~ John 1
