I quote:
For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and this is not from you; it is the gift of God;

Our faith in God is never just a matter of empty gestures, and words of praise.
"But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works."
Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith by my works." ~ James 2:18
The Apostle James has not written that faith is not essential for salvation. James never claims that ones good works are obligatory to prove ones faith in God. James is crystal clear that faith in God cannot be separated from carrying out good works.
Preferably without advertising ones actions.
“Be happy, noble heart, be blessed for all the good thou hast done and wilt do hereafter,
and let my gratitude remain in obscurity like your good deeds.”
― Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte Cristo
It has been my experience that The Father will inspire us to undertake His work, by becoming His outreach into the lives of those He introduces to us, asking us to prove to Him that our faith in Him is not restricted to words filled with pointless praise.
Living in the truth of Our Father's Light ensures that Divine Providence will supply us with all that we will ever need,
revealing The Father's life, alive in our own journey of self discovery.
“if you do one good deed your reward usually is to be set to do another and harder and better one.” ― C.S. Lewis
