I quote:
The law of the LORD is perfect,
refreshing the soul;
The decree of the LORD is trustworthy,
giving wisdom to the simple
end quote
Simple alludes to the person open to receiving Divine Wisdom's guidance, the result of our humble acceptance that we are as flawed as the next person, needing instruction how best to journey through life.
Self emptying (we do not possess all the answers to our life's struggles) opens the faithful person to receiving all that The Saviour provides for our life's journey, protecting us from our self destructive ways leading us to reveal The Father's plan for our life.
Acknowledging our inadequacies can be difficult for all arriving at that moment when life appears to conspire to destroy all that we believed was our due having worked with a passion towards realising a rewarding life. Facing a void with no one to turn too, to resolve what appears to be an overwhelming ordeal, can inspire the distressed person to turn to Our Father asking for assistance.
It has been my experience that when we reach the bottom of that slimy pit filled with regrets, and grief there appears within our thoughts a glimmer of hope inviting us to discuss our dilemma with the source of our being, always at our side waiting for us to ask Him to show us the way out of our troubles, saving us from our catastrophic choices.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
~ Isaiah 41
