None can claim not to be responsible for the decisions we make as if to say, we can blame others for the choices we make.
The salvation of Ebenezer Scrooge begins with nightmares enabling him to understand that life has granted him gifts to be shared with those in need. The penny will eventually drop when Scrooge figures out that his miserable existence can be transformed into a happier, and more fulfiling life by assisting those who daily appear in his life demonstrating impoverishment.
Divine Providence ensures that those who freely cooperate with The Father's plan to become His outreach into lives of those in greatest need, are supplied with all that they will ever need to enact Our Father's Word revealing our happiness, a light born out of our free choice to serve The Father's will never inhibited by fear of self sacrifice an example that The Son of God provides for our well being.
