8 And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
When a child my curiosity led me by the hand into a secret garden where my thoughts enabled me to create, to imagine all that would reward me with a growing awareness that within me lived a loving friend creating my heart's desire. Out of nothing, grew a world filled with delights, with orchards filled with fruits of all descriptions, and sunsets to herald the end of another day discovering all that my life was offering me.
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations." ~ Apocalypse 22:1-3
Scriptural symbolism speaks wonders of how our life can become, should we choose to enter into that secret garden meeting the creator of our life, inviting each of us to participate in His banquet filled to overflowing with all that He asks us to share with those He sends to us, that we may understand that much is given, and in return much is expected.
Conversing with Our Father opens a door into a world where all is possible, where our life enters a dimension of infinite possibilities, when we reciprocate by doing all that He asks of us, enabling us to celebrate our life to the fullest.
6 When you pray, go into a room alone and close the door.
Pray to your Father in private.
He knows what is done in private, and he will reward you.
~ Matthew 6
