2 Christ has also introduced us to God’s undeserved kindness on which we take our stand.
So we are happy, as we look forward to sharing in the glory of God.
3 But that’s not all! We gladly suffer, because we know that suffering helps us to endure.
4 And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope
5 that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with his love.
Enduring the daily trials that all must experience, is that growing awareness that without bearing with our fears, and frustrations none can receive the rewards that ensue, by patiently working to implement the plan that Our Father provides for our growth into His faithful child.
Resilience in the face of overwhelming odds can be a daunting task, yet courage to endure bubbles from within motivating us never to surrender to our ever present unease that we lack the necessary mettle to go the extra mile.
The intrepid warrior permits moments of doubt to enter our thoughts, sufficient to inspire us to reject surrender always whispering into our ear inviting us to take the easy way out. Doubt provides the hero of life's passage with the incentive to take heart that not all that appears hazardous is insurmountable when grasping the hand of our greatest friend, travelling at our side inviting us to let Him guide us along the road best taken.
