How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.
Contemplation, or meditation encourages us to reflect, to consider, to be mindful that Our Father has a specific plan for every human person.
When you pray, go into a room alone and close the door. Pray to your Father in private.
He knows what is done in private, and he will reward you. ~ Matthew 6:6
Our inner life will guide us how best to deal with our daily challenges, our fears, our aspirations when we choose to trust Him, by implementing the advice that flows from within our conscious awareness.
Most people who choose to meditate discover that there is no methodology, simply quieting ones thoughts in an noise free atmosphere enables a dialogue with Our Father to begin. From here Our Father leads us, and guides us.
Remember that you are never alone, Christ is with you on your journey every day of your lives! He has called you and chosen you to live in the freedom of the children of God. Turn to Him in prayer and in love. Ask Him to grant you the courage and strength to live in this freedom always. Walk with Him who is The Way, the Truth and the Life. ~ Pope John Paul 11
