Self ownership carries with it responsibility for ones actions, never to be excused by apportioning blame on society's expectations.
At the very heart of the notion of person hood is the belief that humans beings are the image of God (Gen 1:26-27, James 3:9).
Human life is also relational created for mutual serving through shared action assisting those in need.
This pattern of relationality is revealed in the very nature of the divine mystery, The Trinity.
Human life is created for diversity (Gen 1, Rev 7) within the understanding that variations strengthen the human person's resolve to serve the common good, when perceived difference evidences a commonly shared root that each human person is unique.
