“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art.... It has no survival value;
rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.” ~ C.S. Lewis,
Following His resurrection into new life, The Christ accompanied two of His apostles on the road to Emmaus providing them with solace, and support reserved for those He counted His friends.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.
Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. ~ John 15:15
During our most difficult moments, is then that our greatest friend intervenes offering us wise advice, sufficient for us to understand that His friendship guides us out of our depression, onto a road leading us into better days, when we do all that He asks of us.
I am often asked, how can The Saviour be in so many places at once helping so many people?
The sun provides light for us to see all that we need to see, where ever we are on Planet Earth.
One sun is sufficient for the human race to find its way.
11 The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ~ Isaiah 58
