Some eighty times Holy Scripture invites us not to fear.
It has been said that fear is an inbuilt survival tool that enables human life to know what is around the corner without actually seeing, or hearing its approaching threat.
Fear can literally paralyze those gripped by fear, sufficiently to prevent them responding to fear's invitation to "watch out." In other words fear is also an early warning signal that danger is imminent. Déjà vu inspiration warning us of danger immediately ahead of us is a reminder that there are moments, and situations that defy rational understanding when attempting to reason why we responded positively to the early warning signal saving our life.
Mainstream science rejects the notion that Déjà vu signals precognition, even prophecy.
A few researchers have tried to establish a link between déjà vu, and mental health challenges such as anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, and schizophrenia but failed to find correlations of any diagnostic value.
Fear guides us out of high risk. Fear can also be imagined, sufficiently to later understand, that we were over anxious just prior to an interview for a prospective job. In other words we often think matters are going to be difficult, to be pleasantly surprised when they are not.
Reports of precognition incidents by the witnesses to such events in most cases, if not all encourages them to begin trusting the signals that they are receiving from within their conscious awareness.
The Holy Spirit, also known to us as The Advocate, one who stands at our side representing our best interest has been cited as the source of the warnings, and advice that appear to seed into our awareness that we should respond wisely.
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit inform us that life's mysteries have to be experienced to be believed.
The Vatican has published its views on the subject of chárisma. This document is an educational read.:
