You have a thing about 'niceness'.
Despite all his distracting hand-waving, his argument against 1 Cor 6:10 was most unconvincing. He chose the most convenient translation and based his argument on Philo of Alexandria, but it fell flat for anyone who knows the Douay-Rheims translation, namely: “[10] Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.” ”Liers with mankind” is pretty hard to explain away, no matter how much hand-waving you indulge in.
On that logic the Douay-Rheims translation is your 'most convenient translation'.
