Pastor Niemöller’s and Israel Folau!
Not even Godwin himself would believe that one!
The issue you, and your fellow traveller, won't address -- and the one which makes such comparisons to the very real issues Niemöller was referring to -- is that Folau chose to sign a contract and agreed, without coercion, to the conditions of that contract.
That was the first time.
Then he caused the first controversy with his views on homosexuals.
After that, there was some hard negotiations and Folau, knowing what was expected of him, signed up a second time ... freely!
Then he repeated the behaviour that got him in trouble in the first place.
To compare this scenario with the groups who were systematically oppressed in the time of Rev Niemöller is patently absurd.
