Our Father continues to fashion each of us into His image each and every day of our life when we freely enter into a loving relationship with The One who loves us beyond any thought that He would coerce us into doing anything that would not serve our fellow travellers needs.
The cross, and crucifix are not merely symbols they are the reflection of The Redeemer's sacrifice for every human person who chooses to accept The Saviour's invitation to do all that He asks of us.
Whoever does not meditate, is like someone who never looks in the mirror before going out, doesn't bother to see if he's tidy, and may go out dirty without knowing it. The person who meditates and turns his mind to God, who is the mirror of his soul, seeks to know his faults, tries to correct them, moderates his impulses, and puts his conscience in order. ~ Padre Pio
Our conversations with Our Father are a matter of accepting The Father's call to let Him inspire us to live our life with a willingness to become the outreach of God among the people we encounter every day of our life.
Who can assure us that we will be alive tomorrow? Let us listen to the voice of our conscience, to the voice of the royal prophet: "Today, if you hear God's voice, harden not your heart." Let us not put off from one moment to another (what we should do) because the (next moment) is not yet ours. ~ Padre Pio
