1 Kings 19:11-13
The LORD said, “Go out. Stand on the mountain in front of me. I am going to pass by.” As the LORD approached, a very powerful wind tore the mountains apart. It broke up the rocks. But the LORD wasn’t in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake. But the LORD wasn’t in the earthquake. After the earthquake a fire came. But the LORD wasn’t in the fire. And after the fire there was only a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his coat over his face. He went out and stood at the entrance to the cave. Then a voice said to him, “Elijah, what are you doing here?”
The Father much prefers to speak with us through a gentle whisper inviting us to listen too, and follow His words filled with life for all who enact His plan for our life.
“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God ~Deuteronomy 28:1-2
The Word speaks to us of His love for us, inviting each of us to trust Him, and let Him shepherd us through our life's journey of self discovery.
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you” ~Luke 17:20-21
In times of great anxiety we fret needlessly, there being no obvious remedy that will resolve our pressing dilemma. When we enter within our very being, the real life that is at one with Our Father, we are rewarded with wise advice, providing us with the solution to all that brought us to the edge of the abyss.
Lend your ear to your inner voice, and live with the awareness that God's life becomes yours.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!"~ Isaiah 6:8
