For grace is given not because we have done good works, but in order that we may be able to do them.~Augustine Of Hippo
Our Father empowers us to do as He asks; followed by us making the effort to do all that He asks of us.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.”
The Father will never ask anything of us without first equipping us with all that we will ever need to reveal His plans for our life.
Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile
The Father of Light merely invites us to let Him accompany us through our life's journey of self discovery, along a path He reveals to us each day we rise from our bed.
Jeremiah 26:14 But as for me, behold, I am in your hands. Do with me as seems good and right to you.
Divine Providence supplies all our needs whenever we respond to the call of The Saviour, to allow Him to walk at our side, that we may never lose sight of our birth right to walk hand, in hand with Our Father leading us.
Psalm 37:23-24 The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand.
