When we remove the mask that we wear to impress the world, we have made the decision to reveal who we really are, by rejecting the actor daring to appear as we are not.
Integrity is being true to who we are when there is no audience to impress, by revealing everything that exposes our vulnerabilities; in so doing, better know how best to accept, and love our selves warts, and all.
None know us, more than we, encouraging us to grow patience for what we see in others, often a reflection of who we are when concealing our flawed nature.
1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
