Our enlightenment begins its journey of self discovery the moment we acknowledge that we need help to change our ways, there being an awareness that we are not as smart as once we thought. Our awakening is usually preceded by a rather big fall leading us to understand that a helping hand reaching down into our pit of despair is the beginning of our journey, rescuing us from our self absorbed shortsightedness.
