10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
I doubt whether any human person has not faced moments of doubt, when facing another challenge that appears to overwhelm our capacity to surmount, and resolve when those doubts question our ability to triumph over our fear of failing.
Resistance to the challenges that attempt to overwhelm us daily are the means by which life ensures that each of us grows out of our comfort zone, into a world where the victor can be recognized by their determination never to surrender to the fear of not being able to deal with the next ultimatum appearing on our doorstep encouraging us to conquer our easy willingness to surrender to our doubts.
Jesus spoke of a seed buried in the dark soil, and despite the resistance of the soil grew into a beautiful flower, radiating its beauty for all to admire. The soil's resistance also provided the seed with sustenance that fertilised the growth of the seed.
The seed responded to the sun, and the rain with its inherent resolve to become all that it could become.
Body builders use resistance training working out with weights to build a stronger, healthier, and more attractive body.
So it is with the human person journeying through life's trials, and tribulations growing experience, becoming wiser by striving day, by day to overcome the adversities that grow us into better people.
True wisdom is less presuming than folly. The wise man doubteth often, and changeth his mind the fool is obstinate, and doubteth not he knoweth all things but his own ignorance. ~Akhenaton
