There is a moment in the life of every human person when we realise that our time is finite, and that all that matters is here, and now.
The challenge we all face when attempting to decipher the enigma that is our life, and reason for being alive is to believe that complicated forays into the unknown, in other words academic reasoning will yield results enabling us to penetrate the secrets of the divine mystery.
The absurd is to believe that there is no purpose, no meaning to our lives...for to believe this, is to believe that our own individual life is worthless, and of no consequence to oneself, or anyone else with whom we share our life's journey.
Our personal experiences including interacting with other human beings, wherein we learn that we serve a purpose in the lives of others who benefit from our involvement in their lives...and vice, versa...enable us to reap a fruitful harvest, when our love of our fellow human being rewards us with the gifts that are bestowed upon all who serve the needs of our fellow traveller.
A meaning filled life is never experienced, or understood until we begin to share our life with those who, by mere coincidence, appear in our lives to imbue us with a reason to live, and celebrate the moment...our moment in time, there being no benefit to hurrying through life.
“Your hand can seize today, but not tomorrow; and thoughts of your tomorrow are nothing but desire. Don’t waste this breath, if your heart isn’t crazy, since "the rest of your life" won’t last forever.” ~ Omar Khayyám, Quatrains - Ballades
