Question... Just put St Moritz on Violet and I wondered why

there was no pixie hat to go with the fashion.. before I try and reinvent the wheel... has anyone made one of those cute 40s hats imilar to this for Gene (knitted or not knitted - with or without the attached scarf) -

I cut a piece of red felt and tied it like a headband.

You find a pair of chunk socks and make one that looks knitted

I tried both a sample stocking cap and earmuffs, and in both cases, they made Gene's head seem so big that it distracted from the look. Someone who bought this fashion might choose to put it on a doll like Monaco with a hairstyle that just wouldn't work with a hat, and there was the sense of this being a glamour photo shoot fashion. With the right hairdo underneath it, a pixie hat would be adorable!

yes I know a lot of hats on Gene and other dolls do make their heads

look too big... and totally the hair style will need to be close to the head.

His work is so beautiful. I agree though, why no hat?

that is an interesting hat, looks also like a belt - I wonder how this would be put on the doll

Obviously mine were basic, and full of mistakes lol buf I’m sure the concept is the same.
