I saved and saved my pocket money to buy clothes for them... and then learned to knit .. I only realise now I never received any additional clothing for them as I guess my Dad never thought of that... but he did think of the dolls so bless him for that...

made me happier than to go by myself to buy the doll at Woolworths. As a boy, my mom was not happy but didn't fuss too much.. I so wish I still had her.

She was an American Girl, High Color with Brunette hair. This is the reproduction and I think she is gorgeous.

A neighbor girl wanted to give her a hair cut. She said it would grow back if I didn’t like it. Needless to say I didn’t like it and it didn’t grow back. But I loved her just the same.
