A collector has used their AI powers for good and created these fabulous (IMHO) images of our heroine and friends. I love this one, so fitting, LOL

(Although I'm not sure why the military guy has his left hand raised. Oh, AI...

)

It is from another site, not the World of Gene Marshall. I have not allowed AI photo manipulations there, however we have one collector/designer that animates his creations into small videos. I’m on the fence and have not told him to stop, but this is really not how I see our Gene .

Can we see the photos these plagiarized?

Not denying that these are plagiarized. Im just having trouble imagining how these are made from photos.
These are pretty amazing and I love them. I just hope there will be some way to credit/compensate original makers.
I do love the way the fashions are brought to life. And the pups are adorable.

…these AI images are created using real photos made by real people like me—without permission or compensation.

That used to be actionable. Now, it’s a Tuesday.

I agree. My best friend is a published author and several of her novels were plagiarized.

If the AI creates such volume as to make an individual's image visible to millions in another country for example, then the individual's lack of knowledge means pursuit for permission is highly unlikely. Then it's a de facto conclusion that it was all right to use it, when in fact, the individual never knew it was their own image being used someplace else. Totally not fair.
Unless they get caught, no advertiser will have incentive to ask for permission.
That's why we need rules.

of a "perfected" imagination make us numb to reality. They are admittedly lovely to look at, but then anything less than artificial perfection loses our gaze.

from Ai and doctored images is not good for anyone's mental health IMO as it creates unrealistic expectations about what people actually look like and age like.
