Having light coming in through the window adds a great note of reality to the scenes.

Debbie, I have had so much fun looking at all the tiny details. I am the collector (too busy to play for decades but ..) who has collected the parts and pieces to many dioramas. I even have the Room with a View that I used only for a few minutes before it went to "Lock Up" (climate controlled storage). I have the Tonner piano NRFB, if you get my drift.

Thus, looking at your realized room is absolutely thrilling. Looking at the books and nicknacks on the shelfs, the candles on the mantle. All yummy!

I live in the Southwest so it is easy to have collected, over 3 decades, the most fabulous "cowgirl" room - I even have the cow hide sofa! "That Gene" has a kachina collection, a boot collection - not wearable but so believable, LOL.

I also have the most fabulous flower and garden shop. I better hurry, LOL. "Things" don't wait forever. But thanks for making my dreams come true.

It's never too late to post pics. I am forever grateful to Ivy in MA who came to visit me and showed me how to post pics here. I've been wanting to share my collection for a very long time. Now I have no excuse to just being a lurker. Please share your "scenes". They sound wonderful.
