In fond remembrance of Pat in MA, who passed last week.

Pat and I met years ago when I purchased Midnight Romance from her via Yahoo auctions. We struck up an email conversation and kept in touch over the years, mostly by phone calls a few times every year. We each traveled once to the other's home state and met for a few doll conventions. Each time it was as if no time had passed.

Pat was an early fan of my repaints and owned a few which she often mentioned as being some of the favorites of her collection. She encouraged me in my repainting and growing as an artist. When hurricanes came my way or blizzards came her way, we always reached out to check on each other.

A few days ago I heard from another Commissary member that she had passed on July 17th. Pat was here at the Commissary, often as a lurker but I would know she had visited when she'd reach out after I'd shared a photo or posted a comment.

I know Pat will be missed by more than myself. She had a big heart and loved her "adopted" daughters very much. My sympathies to her family and friends who knew her better than I did and will grieve her loss. God bless.
