We are going to dinner and to see a production of White Christmas tonight so I am doing two games at the same time today.

I will post a question below and your response will enter you into a raffle for our prize. One entry per person per game.
Game ends Sunday 8AM EST, Board Time.

I encourage everyone to play along and if you do not want the prize but still wish to play just include NFP (not for prize) to your post and I will not add you to the raffle.

stacked them on top of the china cabinet in advance of chanukah. one package was the slim rectangular box like a barbie came in. i couldn’t wait til the first night when i got to select a gift. a beautiful brunette bubble cut. ecstacy!

To the airport in a stroller by my mother and grandmother because my father was coming home from Vietnam. I’m sure there was a lot of emotion in the preparation and arrival and the whole thing left a lasting memory. I was super young like under 2 years old and I can’t believe I still have that dim memory.

That is amazing (and so are the snatches of childhood memories in particular!

My dad was the police chief, and our next-door neighbor was the fire chief. I also called him uncle Merle, as we were very close friends with them, I think we all had that neighborhood family growing up. I remember on Christmas, when my mom had left my “gift “for him to give me on the front porch, and I saw it. So when he did come in the front door as Santa, and hand me my present, it was ice cold from the snow. It was a set of red plastic, Barbie luggage and some doll clothes. I still remember how cold those plastic suitcases were, and one even broke when I tried to open it. I still have them.

Across the street from my great grandmother's house. And once inside, he couldn't drag me outside of it except by bribing me to come out and he would take my picture!

I still have that photo he took all those years ago, and I think that remarkable playhouse sparked my love for dolls and Dollhouses and miniatures.
