most famous models. He said she was intended to be a model friend of Gene. So many of those photographic models, as well as the house models used by Dior had such original and beautiful looks. I'd like a whole series of them! Hey, why not be greedy. when it's just a dream. I know that our 16" resin doll producers have created dolls who can be models, but the face-ups are almost never the vintage look I want. Smoky eyes and glossy full lips don't say 1950's model to me.( Not to say they aren't lovely dolls, if that's the look you want.)

Arched, shaped brows, classic Cupid's Bow mouth, chiseled features, YES!

My hesitation in totally endorsing the look of the 1950s is that the models were made to look older than they actually were. I always feel that the 1950s models' makeup portrayed a woman at least in her 30s. The Youthquake of the 60s and 70s was just the opposite, and the ideal seemed to be a teenager, so that's a limiting look too.

The 1950s models were an elegant crew, no doubt.

I would love Noel Cruz to consider repainting them....One can dream can't one ?????
