Edna came along as my travel doll (I'm sure she wouldn't use that word).

She did not care for her "seat" on the plane:

Before going to the hotel we went for BBQ at a friend's recommendation:

She consented to a bib but NO CAPES!:

Edna and I met Miss Head on Sunday at the OKC Museum of Art exhibit:

Miss Head insisted that "E" stole her look!

When the group went out for lunch at Perle Mesta after the exhibit Edna rested against a lovely pillow:

Monday night I left Edna for all the festivities of our banquet and helper raffle:

She spent the night with one of her favorite men.

Edna joined me for breakfast (Breakfast Cuban) at Hatch in the airport before going home:

I’m just happy to be able to do try before you buy on amazon. Lol

During the Victorian years, “opera tokens” were used as tickets by the wealthy clientele. They were often made of ivory and were used to show proof of enter for the more expensive boxes.
Edith Head had her famous necklace made of a variety of opera tokens. It was one of her favorite pieces of jewelry and you can see it in many photos of her through the years.
When Edith died she willed the necklace to Elizabeth Taylor who had admired it for many years. It was sold at Elizabeth’s famous jewelry auction.

What have I got? I got no snacks and I got no respect.

The necklace is gold with ivory opera passes from the 18th and 19th centuries.>>

Elizabeth Taylor, who was close to Miss Head, admired the necklace and wanted to buy it. Miss Head did not sell it to Elizabeth but willed it to her.
At the auction for Elizabeth's jewels, this necklace went for over $300,000! Susan told us she put in a bid for $5,000 but, alas, it went way over that.

Edna was glad to wear the replica we got at convention but there may be a fight here since it was meant for Gene!

Gene must at least share because it seriously belongs to Edna! Tell Miss Gene Trish said so!
