I couldn't tie a pretty bow at the neckline with the long tails of the halter, so I made a nice bow and stitched it in place, and put a hook and loop at the back neck. Now I absolutely love it!

The silk taffeta is so crisp, you don't even need the petticoat.

Great idea! And perfect choice of dress for this doll!
