I do love the rabbit holes you send me down! She did not ring a bell at all but I've seen a good half of her films many times and honestly never knew the name.

It is an actress named Juliette Compton. I thought her dress looked very Madra-ish.

I would dearly love to see a picture of the back of that dress, to see where the bolero and sleeves are attached or anchored.
