I am HOME

I was rather quickly released around 3 pm Central...feels good to be home...it feels good to be out of that bed....this afternoon was the first time I had gotten out of the bed since the ambulance brough me in....

I love the hospital...amazing staff....so a shout out to those of you who work in medicine in any capacity....I hope your patients appreciate you as much as I did my care team....I worked in medical for over 10 years, so I know the drill....and I know good care....

Still one week to recoup and enjoy follow-up doctor appointments....thrill....as long as I keep breathing!

I was a teacher too, hard to not be there but they'll cover for you til you get back. Not the same with a sub but they'll manage! It's early in the school year so you can get the kids back on track with their learning. Take care of you!

So sorry to hear about all you have gone thru and are still going thru. Putting you in my prayers. Sounds like you are bravely going thru it. Very scary! I hope it will be a short time now until you are up and back to life as you knew it. The dolls will be waiting for your return, as will the students!
