One of the reason's I love Gene is you can find some nice wigs for the period gowns/fashions to complete the look.

I turn the doll upside down, facing away from me, and hold between my knees. Then get the shoe on, wrap the ribbon around the front, then to the back, then tie it. The bendable knee ones are a bit more tricky, but that's what works for me.

Ugh mine, too! And I’ve developed RA so definitely much less abilities with them. Nm

I never liked the way they looked. Some of the fashions look so much better when matched with the proper looking shoe. Facets Boutique has so many shoes I am trying to replace the old ones with.
All you do is slip them on & off. My fingers say Thank you!
