Ivy Jordan is getting rave reviews in her break-out role as Phyllis Marlowe, private investigator, in Dark Intrigue. Madra Lord co-stars as the widow Siobhan O'Shaunessey in what many consider to be Ms. Lord's best performance in years.

In Dark Intrigue, P.I. Phyllis Marlowe is hired by Siobhan O'Shaunessey to recover the jewels that were stolen from her sea cliff estate while she was attending her oil baron husband's burial at Whispering Pines cemetary. But at each turn in the investigation new questions arise: Did O'Shaunessey die of natural causes? And is Siobhan really a grieving widow or something more sinister: Is she an opium addict, a blackmailer, merely a murderess -- or all three?!

Years ago, I tried to make Venetian blinds out of balsa wood lab sticks for a couple of "window" frames for a set, but I couldn't get them right.
Did you use paper? Because among other terrific details, those blinds are the bees knees!
