I loved it and love what Daniel Roseberry does. It's more art than fashion...

...in the Schiaparelli tradition and yes, there are some far-fetched looks - like those "shields" obscuring the wearer's face but all-in-all, I love it. And we know Elsa created a scandal with her designs in her day as well.

My favorite look is the first one, the off-white bodice, molded in what looks like some sort of beading, nipped-in at the waist and then flared at the hips and shaped; worn over mid-calf trousers. Really simple and elegant: I can see how that could translate to a "normal" look. And I love the coats with the lacing up the back; that too could "translate" well for everyday.

Would love fashion dolls inspired by it...which I think is why I felt so disappointed by this show. For me these looks were a mixture of boring and sort of slightly offensive but in a flat rather than exciting way.

But it's brilliant that wvetyone has their own ideas of great fashion..

On the other hand..love Victor and Rolf's show today!

That first one is my favourite....I would love to see that for a doll!

Designs and overall concerts from contemporary Schiaparelli but this left me cold.

It looked like they were wearing the trophy rugs from an old fashioned billionaire's house.

They seemed to be trying very hard, instead it was just trying.

Rich people do the darndest things but they do them in exquisite fabrics.

I was thinking the same thing. So many of them had a dead-eye expressionless face.

I realize that it's supposed to be all about the clothes, but don't you want to feel like you would be having fun or looking elegant or whatever the mood is supposed to be?

I had to stop watching before the 9 minute mark. The animal heads were just too much.

Hmmm I don't get a lot of the looks which looked ill fitting, but some were very sophisticated.
