Flower dress mystery

I wonder if someone here can help me. I feel like a couple of years ago, it was easy to find dresses like this for dolls. I can’t seem to find any now, and I can’t seem to figure out how to describe this type of dress either. Could anyone more knowledgeable about fashion than I am tell me a bit about this trend? It seems Alexander McQueen either set it or was part of it? That’s all I’ve been able to find out.

It was definitely a trend I saw *everywhere* and like most trends, it passes. You can still find it but not in as many places and not in as many scales (large, small, tiny).

As to the dresses for our girls? Maybe you can post on Prego or here and see if any of the designers have leftover fabric to make you whatever you wish.

Although there was similar fabric available on the bolt, the scale was too large for doll clothing. I found this smaller version on a roll in the ribbon section of my craft store.

It had filtered down to places like Joanne’s and Michael’s. Yes, suddenly it was “discovered” and a lot of doll people used it. I don’t see it as much anymore, maybe the trend has fallen off.

I’d describe it as tulle 3D rosettes, small scale.

School two hours late. No morning Kindergarten.
