all of a sudden my JS Palm Springs Gene is behaving badly. She’s become very kicky. She’s flung off several pairs of shoes. (I mean, if you don’t like the shoes you don’t have to kick them across the room!). Also, when I finally get her to stand straight-legged on her stand she flops over from the waist, doing a very inelegant faceplant. If this kind of behavior continues I doubt anyone will hire her to make another movie.
But seriously, has anyone else had these problems or have suggestions on how to mitigate them? Any help will be very appreciated.
I’ve had the same waist flopping behavior. Wrap one hand around her hips, the other around her shoulders. Pull her firmly apart at the waist, don’t yank. Then let her slowly come back together. That sometimes straightens out the elastic and she is more upright. Same with a wayward “kicky” leg, pull it firmly out and then back into place. I’m sorry I don’t have a direct YouTube link, search Jamieshow on YouTube and a number of repair and general tip videos come up.Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions.
And sometimes it’s not the waist but floppy hips, pull legs out the same way.
