The JS bodies are longer in the shoulder to waist dimension. If you add 1/4" in length to the bodice front and back pieces, and also add 1/4" total to the hip measurement, it will be fine. |
The short waisted bodices are what always troubled me the most. You can add the length at the top and bottom, 1/8 inch each, or you can do what I do, which is split the bodice horizontally across the armhole, both back and front pieces, and add the length there. You will also have to adjust the sleeve cap, but I think it's the best way to do it.
