There was no big mystery that I know of... I was was totally surprised when I received the shipping container containing over 400 Ashton Drake gifts for convention and it was so small! I called AD to see if it was a mistake and they explained it was a "doll hat" worn by ladies in the 40's, meant to be a tie in with hats worn to the Kentucky Derby. I don't remember anything being said about bringing it back the next year...certainly nothing was mentioned to me about it. Guess I was busy and missed that part!
