from the Hollywood Bakery. Loved the shoes from Blumingtons, perfect little resin pumps. I still have some and Hatitudes hats. No pictures handy of anything, sorry about that. Marsha Olson continues the Hatitudes line, you can find her on Facebook. I bought three new ones from her just a few months ago. Blossoms Awesome Links was our go-to to find new artists and all the early ones were on there. I got Wendy from the Hollywood Bakery to come down to shows at The Doll Market a couple of times to sell, I think she did well, it was certainly wonderful getting to know her and hang out with her. She quit selling right after her son was KIA. I remember the burial at Arlington then she just closed up shop and dropped out, her heart was just not in it anymore. We've all known such wonderful people who created treasures for us and are no longer active. I'll throw out a couple more names, ya'll keep the memories going, please and thank you Gael for starting this. Two designers of some of my most treasured costumes. Michael Scott, I have quite a few, and I know ya'll remember Becky Geis. She created the Tulsa white beaded gown for the Tulsa convention, Doris made it through her Fashion Boulevard line. But her other creations were just wonderful, I have a few and again, struck up a friendship with her. She left the Gene world and sewing for her a long time ago. We kept in touch for a few years after but lost touch after a while. I wonder if any of these designers still poke their heads in and lurk sometimes? If so, we would love for you to say 'hi'. Those early days were very heady!
