It is possible she wore them only as outerwear. It's unlikely she wore them during the evening, as red colors were notorious for dye transfer and skin staining, just as red is notorious for staining dolls. Anyhow, back to opera length gloves. They are only for formal occasions, so they would actually be OK to use with that gown, creating an interesting visual against the white fur. |
