If the garment is in great shape, then go ahead and donate it. If there are worn parts, ie., elbows, cuffs, collars, anything where friction would cause abrasion, then recycle, rather than sell or donate. I have cut up many of my late Mother's ultrasuede pieces. The dolls are generally delighted.
