To take affect any time now.
eBay is attempting to get it removed from the IRS legislation altogether. Here’s the link if you are interested:

If this goes into affect, all sellers of $600+ per year will be receiving 1099-Ks, and that means any sellers.

I thought PayPal did, too. I’ve been paying taxes on sales for years.

I got a 1099 that was a gross total, no deductions and thus inaccurate
