The safest would likely be to remove the beading and sequins, do any tarnish removal off the garment, and then reapply. It may be easiest to re-bead/re-sequin with something else. The only home remedy tarnish removal I have used with any success on items that are not genuine silver is the vinegar and baking soda in a foil bowl method. However, that chemical reaction would likely also affect your fabric. |
