My maternal grandmother bought me my first Barbie, only instead of Barbie, I got a Malibu Francie...and Mom made some clothes...I also got the Johnny West farmhouse and stable, which I wish I still had...also I remember getting a Pinnochio marrionette, which I loved and had until water leaked and rioned the composite material...ugh...oh, and did anyone else get a HUGO puppet and all of his disguises? I loved that! Also the Planet of the Apes treehouse and dolls/horses...some cool Star Wars sets...6 Million Dollar Man stuff...Evil Kineivel stuff... We were not spoiled and not wealthy, but we sure got great stuff at Christmas! Dennis in IN |
