Elizabeth Ashton Drake doll! I have a dress which is based upon Elizabeth's coronation gown (although with more contemporary shaping to the bodice and with the daffodils Hartnell originally envisaged rather than the officially required leeks for Wales) and I am sure the AD doll is wearing a crown depicting the State Diadem that Elizabeth wore on her journey to Westminster Abbey which I would love to put with it. I have the Wattle Dress Elizabeth from AD and am curious if this new one is similar construction and materials, especially hair and crown. And I'd love to know about the chair which I can't see on the UK site - and I'm blocked from visiting the USA site from the UK.   And yes I do have the Emperis Royal Tour on order! |
