I have not visited this board in a looonnng time - got married, retired etc. etc. But I just happened to drop in today and saw the post about David Wolfe passing away. My mouth dropped - I was stunned as I always felt that he was 'ageless'. He was a lovely friend that I could talk with anytime about our shared love of old movies, fabulous fashions, paper dolls and the one thing that brought us together - Miss Gene Marshall. I was blessed to be able to acquire some of the creations the David & Jerrold team (aka Jerrold DeWolfe) created over the years and have posted pics of many of them on my website dedicated to Gene Marshall - "A Star is Born". If you are interested in taking a look at them here is a 'map' for you on where to find them scattered thru out the site- I will post the link at the end of this post. Page 6 - Liquid Gold (which was also a repaint by David) Page 8 - French Pastry, Sheer Sweetness - Rainbow Room Page 9 - Acapulco Fiesta - Peppermint Float Page 10 - Serenade at Sundown - Midnight in the Rose Garden Page 11 - Liquid Gold again in Rare Deal Convention Poster I created for fun Page 12 - Two on the Aisle Holiday page- Happy New Year Rest in Peace my dear friend - you have left a lasting legacy of your artistry and all the things you dearly loved. You made your mark but you will be missed.
