ran across a stack of photographs that, regretfully, are unlabeled. I hate the idea of people disappearing from memory, so I decided to start an Instagram page for the beautiful faces from my family's past that no one still alive remembers.
There are some wonderfully silly and fun photographs, but I thought you all would appreciate the one of "Billy and His Doll" (that's what the back said). No idea who Bill is; no idea what doll this is, but thought I'd share!
I think it's from the 1920s or 1930s, as the photos that were written on and we could identify dated to that period, but you never know! Any insights you have would be welcomed!! (Even on the other photos and fashions! The Insta handle I'm using is @myvirginiaroots. I'm trying to remember to post one every day. There are sadly a lot. Label your photos, people!!!)
