a lot of genuinely Asian styled stuff...yet!
My absolute favourite is the Indian/South East Asian styling and I have to admit to owning quite a lot of saris and jewellery in human size too!
Rann is a studio OOAK sybarite (current Gen VII Voltaire sculpt)
Hawk (Venus sculpt Gen V sybarite, convention centrepiece) wears salon outfit Rosemaria
I only really got interested in Kimono/Japanese fashion about five years ago after visiting the Bonheur Des Dames exhibition at the Guimet Museum in Paris. Seeing both the history of kimono and the way it has been interpreted by more contemporary designers really fascinated me.
I have doll outfits inspired by my two favourite non traditional designs from this exhibit :-)
I'm sure many of you will recognise the YSL influence in the pink outfit, I believe the black one is influenced by a Kenzo interpretation.
The outfits are both superdoll salon OOAKs, displayed on OOAK Chalk White sybarites, DC sculpt for the pink and Venus for the black.
I'm afraid I don't have Gene in any Asian styled shots but I have had fun this morning playing properly with Luna for the first time. I've never really appreciated her before but thanks to the theme I feel I've got to know her.
In Cherry Blossom Time by SSP (even if it is really roses LOL)
And in Fiori di Campo...I think she looks ready for an Asian Pacific beach holiday!
I do have some Japanese influenced outfits for both my biggest girls like Dollstown SD sized Georgia
And the 12" Dominion Doll girls

Nike
Necro Peep was an exclusive sybarite available at a doll show in Tokyo so it's only fitting she gets to wear Kimono influenced styles
And Envelope, the last of the Gen_X vinyl sybarites likes traditional and modern Japanese styling!
I've moved across to China for my current display for The Year of the Tiger with some of my Integrity and HOZ 12" dolls.
