FS Gorgeous OOAK Custom Gene by Didier Duriau Archived Message Posted by Sharon Meyer on January 25, 2022, 10:45 pm This lovely repainted, custom outfitted Ashton Drake Gene with redone hair was created as a one of a kind by Didier Duriau of A La Mode de Margaud from Brussels. I purchased it from him in Paris in 2002. She has been stored away in climate controlled, non smoking storage and has never been played with nor removed from her custom box. She is called "Black Society" and has bendy knees and straight arms. She wears a nubbly black woven silk slim skirt, fully lined that closes with a snap at the back, topped by a black on black floral patterned jacket with tiny buttons over hidden snaps in front and tiny button accents at the cuffs. She has fishnet stockings and black velveteen shoes. Her custom styled pale blonde hair is slick and straight and held back by a black headband. She has a feather boa wrap, a green choker necklace and tiny earrings. Her envelope handbag is red and black floral. She also comes with a mysterious small bundle of sticks wrapped around the middle with a bit of fabric and tied with black cord or wire to the bottom of the box near her feet. I have no idea what that is supposed to be. She comes with a certificate of authenticity and a Gene stand and everything is fixed into her box with back satin ribbon.
