First of all… Thanks to all who responded here, and to the friend who called my attention to this post! I probably would have missed it, as I have not recently had a chance to visit the SC as much as I’d like … We’ve had a short delay in shipping, as I received only a partial order of shoes, with the remaining shoes — originally expected last week — held up in transit. And yes…as of Wednesday, I am in London for my annual birthday trip and to attend fabric shows. It was somewhat of a last minute decision that came close to being cancelled a couple of times…but I I’m very happy to be here! It’s no fun to celebrate birthdays alone! I’ve worked for weeks to get 100 or more packages ready…absentees, suits that didn’t arrive in time for convention for attendees, and orders for in stock fashions so everything could be shipped last week…anticipating that the missing shoes would arrive on schedule so they could be added to packages and sent before leaving on my trip. When there was no news on delivery as of Friday, I held out hopes they would come on Monday…forgetting it was a Federal holiday. I had hoped to send all packages at one time so everyone would receive them close together….but have arranged with a friend to send the packages not awaiting shoes by next week and send the others as soon as shoes arrive. I will be returning to the states Oct 31st and will handle any packages not yet sent at that time. I apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding…I certainly share your eagerness to have packages shipped and received, as I love hearing your delight and seeing your photos afterwards! As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns, even while I am away. I will continue to do my best to respond to emails quickly and can still be reached by phone (dial as you would normally), as I have a calling plan for unlimited calls while I am abroad and welcome your phone calls at any time! I do not normally see texts or posts on social media. If you have not yet placed your orders for AOF Fashions or would like to add to your orders, there is still time…but I plan to submit orders and send fabric shortly after returning home.
